Winds for Felix have increased to 140mph, Category Four, according to the National Hurricane Center. The hurricane continues on it’s west-northwesterly track with hurricane force winds extending out 25 miles from the center of the storm.

Current winds for Hurricane Felix are near 100mph, a category two hurricane. More strengthening is expected by the National Hurricane Center.

Dean just got more dangerous. Now classified as a category 5 hurricane due to its wind speed, Dean is progressing to the Yucatan peninsula. Category 5 hurricanes have the capability for inflicting catastrophic damage.

Huge Hurricane Dean who already battered Jamaica, is headed for the Yucatan Peninsula. The huge Category 4 storm packing 145mph winds will affect most of the Yucatan on its current track due to it’s huge size.
